How we work
15-step working process from drawings to aftercare
For clients who already have drawings. We check the drawings, compare them with the real site, get the client's approval at every key point before work starts, and keep a detailed BOQ that can be added to or reduced line by line. Clients always know which step the job is at, and what comes next. QC is one step inside this process — not fifteen separate QC points.
- 01
Receive the client's drawings
The client sends the existing drawings and tells us the scope of work.
- Drawings to build from
- Scope, and what stays
- 02
Check the drawings before work starts
We read every sheet before starting. Anything unclear or conflicting is raised and agreed first.
- Missing dimensions, materials or details
- Sheets that conflict with each other
- 03
Check drawings against the real site
We survey the site and compare it with the drawings. Where the site differs, the client hears it, with a fix, before pricing.
- Site survey
- List of differences from the drawings
- 04
Detailed, transparent BOQ
Client approval: Client gets the BOQ to read ahead
Quantities taken off the drawings, line by line, with real material and labour costs. Each line stands alone, so items can be added or removed.
- Materials and labour itemised
- Add or reduce line by line
- 05
Quotation walkthrough
Client approval: Client confirms the quotation
We go through the quotation together line by line. Price, timeline and extras are stated honestly from the first meeting.
- Scope can be adjusted before signing
- Every step has a named owner
- 06
Material approval with real samples
Client approval: Client approves materials
Real material samples are shown side by side for comparison before anything is ordered or produced. No choosing from a screen.
- Real samples compared
- Order and production only after approval
- 07
On-site layout marking
Lines and positions are marked on the real floor and walls from the drawings, so the client sees true sizes before work begins.
- Cabinet, wall and built-in lines
- Real clearances in the room
- 08
Switch and socket marking
Switch and socket positions are marked on the walls before any electrical wiring.
- Before actual wiring
- Positions can move now, before anything is built
- 09
Client approval on site
Client approval: Client approves on site
The client walks the marked layout and switch/socket positions and approves them before work starts, to prevent mistakes after finishing.
- Layout marks checked
- Switch and socket marks checked

Additions · reductions
Changes go through a VO
If the client wants to add, reduce or change work after the quotation is signed, every change is written up as a VO (variation order) before any work is done.
- Additional work
- Added to the BOQ as new lines with material and labour costs. The client sees and confirms it first, every time.
- Scope reduction
- Lines removed from the BOQ one by one, with the reduction shown clearly.
- Drawing or material change
- Checked against the drawings and the site; the effect on price and timeline is stated, then the client confirms.
- Small issues on site
- Solved together. Anything that costs more is shown to the client and confirmed first.
